Our vision, at its core, is family restoration. AKF was founded with the sole intent to reunite families with loved ones in the criminal justice system; training and educating inmates with the tools necessary to successfully re-enter society while productively engaging in sustainable economic opportunities.

 

In addition to, AKF uses its relationship in both the political and entertainment arenas to advocate and bring forth awareness to community in order to foster legislative changes necessary to enhance the support of inmates re-entering society.

AKF programming is aimed at establishing collaborative solutions to criminal justice issues. This is accomplished with effective intervention. We believe that we can reform the criminal cycle by strengthening families and decreasing the triggers that lead to criminal behaviours.
